Tour fee of Raj Bhavan can be paid in cash

Visitors to Raj Bhavan the official residence of the Tamil Nadu Governor can pay their entrance fee by cash. Until now, visitors had to pay online and register on the official website of the Raj Bhavan either by netbanking or by credit or debit cards before their visit. In order to make it easy for the visitors, the Governor’s office will now allow cash payment when they go for the tour. All they need to do is to register for their visit on the website and pay the tour fee of Rs 25 directly during the visit.

The tour covers 8 locations viz the Darbar Hall, the Presidential Guest House, Horticultural Nursery, Lawns of the Raj Bhavan, Deer Sight, Silver Jubilee Garden, Nakshatra Garden, Solar Power Plants and a drive into the Forest Polo Ground.They will be taken around by battery operated vehicles in 2 batches from 4.30pm to 5.30 pm and 5.30 to 6.30 pm on all days of the week. The tour can accommodate up to 40 people and they will be provided with tea and snacks at the end of the tour.
