Hailing from the heart of the city, Sheeba Iqbal Jairajpuri, a name as regal as the personality that carries it, brings robust and aromatic flavours to the kitchens of Indian Durbar. Specially curated by home Chef Sheeba Iqbal from Lucknow, each of the dishes will give Bengalureans a taste of authentic Lucknowi cuisine.
Sheeba’s recipes have been preserved and passed down from several generations. Begin the royal meal with Thandai and Indulge in the royal cuisine of Lucknow with delicacies such as Kache Qeeme ki Kabab, Shami Kabab, Pateli ki Kabab for appetizers. Some of the must-have main course dishes include Chicken Qorma, Matar Qeema and Aloo ghosht. Vegetarians will love the Arvi ka salan and and Besan ki tikiya with fresh rotis and some mouth-watering Yaqni pulav, Lamb biryani and Roghni Tikiya. Wash down all the goodness with special in-house cocktails like Hazarathgang, Tamarind Martini and Pani Puri Margarita and get the feast going. The greatness of Awadh cuisine lies not only in its variety, but in the art of cooking over a slow fire with rich and aromatic flavour of spices.
End your meal on a sweet note with the authentic dessert Muzafir, a traditional vermicelli dish made with dry roasted vermicelli in sugar syrup topped with lots of roasted dry fruits and Kulfi Falooda.
