The Chef Post unveiled its iconic 2021 calendar featuring innovative culinary creations by renowned chefs, themed around emotions. The Chef Post, an interactive, content-driven digital platform that heralds chefs and gastronomy unveiled its avant-garde Calendar 2021 featuring themed culinary exoticas by celebrated chefs from Bengaluru and India.

In its fifth successive year now, The Chef Post Calendar brings alive the personalities of chefs and is designed around a unique theme each year. Despite 2020 being a challenging year for each of us, there is renewed optimism that 2021 will usher in a new era, but with a lot of emotions taking centre-stage. Thus, for 2021, The Chef Post Calendar is focused around ‘Emotions and Gastronomy’, with each chef putting together an invigorating spread that aptly denotes an emotion.

Shot by celebrity photographer Lucky Malhotra at Conrad Bengaluru, the calendar mirrors a mood that is bright, vibrant, effervescent and exudes optimism for the New Year. “Being a Chef-centric brand that curates experiential culinary content and conceptualises memorable food showcases, we are now excited with The Chef Post Calendar 2021. With 2020 being a challenging year for all of us with vivid emotion play, we conceived the theme of Food & Emotions. You would see a great visual representation of 12 emotions portrayed through gastronomic masterpieces for the 12 months of the year. Being culinary maestros, chefs have beautifully brought alive emotions such as hope, desire, surprise, bliss, resilience, apprehension, compassion, pride, peace, love, nostalgia and triumph through food. The calendar brings out the exceptional creativity and insight of our chefs,” states Sneha Chandrashekar, co-founder and CEO, The Chef Post.

The calendar was unveiled at a glittering event at Conrad Bengaluru amidst the presence of General Managers of leading hotels, industry associates, corporates, diplomats and influencers; while adhering to all COVID-19 SOPs. One of India’s youngest billionaires Nikhil Kamath, who is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Asset Management firm True Beacon and at fintech unicorn Zerodha, along with Richard Pattle, the CEO of True Beacon, were the Guests of Honour at this evening. The Chef Post releases about 5,000 copies of its calendar each year which are then seen at leading hotels and premium places across India and in markets like Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Bangkok.
