Rumeysa Gelgi a 24 year old woman from Turkey is the tallest living woman in the world. Her height is a little over 7 feet and is caused by a disorder called Weaver Syndrome.


According to Guinness World Records, this condition accelerates growth and causes abnormalities like skeletal malnutrition. A video has been shared on Instagram. This video has received around 3.6 lakh views and many users posted motivational messages for Rumeysa.
Back in 2014, when Rumeysa was 18 years old, she was registered as the tallest youngster. Though she has to use a wheelchair and have an assistant to move her around, she is delighted that she has entered the Guinness Book of World Records.
Rumeysa has been bullied by many because of her height but all that has not prevented her from standing tall. In fact, she has even become stronger due to all the struggles she is facing.
