World leaders will arrive today for the G20 Summit

The G20 Summit will take place in New Delhi from September 9 and world leaders will arrive today for the same. Some of them are US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The Summit is being held at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre in the International Convention and Exhibition Centre at Pragati Maidan. India currently holds the G20 presidency.
The Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will not be attending the event. China will be represented by its Prime Minister Li Qiang
The UK PM Rishi Sunak will be the first to arrive in India. He is Britain’s first Indian origin Prime Minister. He will be received by Union Minister for State Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
