WHO Chief self isolates

Chief of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom is under self quarantine for some time as one of the persons he was in contact with has tested positive for Covid 19. Though he is well and did not have any symptoms, he will work from home and self isolate in accordance with the WHO protocol. So far, the virus has claimed 1.2 million lives and has infected 46 million people across the globe since it emerged in China late last year.

The 55 year old former Ethiopian Minister for Health and Foreign Affairs has reiterated that each and every person has a role to play in halting the spread of the virus and has urged people to wash their hands often,to wear masks and to follow social distancing.
