Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu visits Tirumala Temple

Vice-President M.Venkaiah Naidu visited Tirumala Temple this morning before the crack of dawn and offered prayers. He is an ardent devotee of the hill shrine and he traveled with his family members to attend the wedding of his granddaughter at a private marriage hall. He wore a traditional dress and sported a’ naamam’ on his forehead


He praised the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for taking forward Hindu Dharma Prachara through spiritual programmes.
He prayed to Sri Venkateswara Swamy to bestow his blessings on people across the globe. The Vice-President was welcomed by Chairman of TTD Y.V Subba Reddy, TTD EO Dr.K.S Jawahar Reddy and Additional EO A.V Dharma Reddy near Mahadwaram.
After darshan, he was given ”Vedaseervachanam” by Pundits in Ranganayakula Mandapam. He was later presented with ”Thirtha prasadams”, a calendar, diary and a coffee table book.
