US President Joe Biden attends Holy Communion Service before attending G20 Summit

US President Joe Biden who attended the G 20 Summit held in India on the 9th and 10th of September attended a Holy Communion Service before his Summit engagements in New Delhi.

It was organised by the US Embassy in Delhi and Fr. Nicholas Dias, the Secretary for Liturgy Commission for the Delhi Archdiocese held a 30 minute service at the ITC Maurya where President Biden was staying. It was held on Saturday morning at 9.30. A small US delegation participated in the service.
They prayed for the participants, for the success of the Summit as well as for the global issues that were to be discussed.
Father Dias who had just returned from his hometown Goa, presented the President with a packet of Bebinca which is a Goan-Portuguese delicacy.
President Biden gave Fr. Dias a souvenir,  the President’s Seal No 261.
