A luxury showroom with 4 unique sections

In a grand and traditional affair Sri Palam Silks 4th branch in Chennai on Oliver Road, Mylapore was opened. The lamp was lit by the founder Ms. Jeyasree Ravi and founder of Nalli Silks Mr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti. Sri Palam Silks is also located at T Nagar, Luz Church Road, and Anna Nagar 2nd Avenue.

Knowing the customers well, Sri Palam Silks designed each store differently to cater to their preference and diverse shopping experiences.  T Nagar headquarters is inspired from  “Chettinad cottage” interiors with wooden wardrobes and mustard walls. The new store in Oliver Road is an out-an-out walk-in wardrobe inspired unit where they have taken the gap between customers and saree. All the sarees are easily accessible as they are set up on hangers. Customer can enjoy viewing each and every saree in hangers instead of a countertop display unit where the viewing is limited to the sales executive’s selection of sarees. Customer can leisurely walk around the store and take the liberty to get up-close and personal with every saree in the showroom.

The store can also be called a mini-mall as it houses 4 unique sections. One part is inspired by online browsing experience where the customer can swipe through every saree that Sri Palam Silks have designed. The 2nd section consists of a Bridal Cabin which is inspired from a Chettinad palace where Sri Palam Silks feature their premium bridal collection, NAVA which got premiered at the Vogue Wedding Show in 2017 and 2018. The 3rd section is a walk-in website where customer can browse through all the exclusive sarees featured on Sri Palam Silks website and app. The 4th section carries cushion covers designed by Ms. Jeyasree Ravi’s daughter Sunita Yogesh who is also Sri Palam Silk’s in-house kanjeevaram designer.
