Grandma Mookerjee’s Kitchen is a contemporary Bengali Pop-up serving food inspired by the region’s vast culinary traditions and heritage, yet prepared with the finesse and techniques developed by the modern French kitchen. The menu is current yet traditional, global yet regional, but above all else, it provides nourishment and comfort just like every other Grandma’s kitchen.
It is one of the few traditionally developed multi-course traditions from India that is analogous in structure to the modern service à la russe style of French cuisine. That means food served course-wise rather than all at once.
Chef Auroni would be catering home made Bengali courses on all 3 days exclusively @ Ashvita Bistro.
