Ganjam presents “The silence of Hampi”
Ganjam presents the preview for “The silence of Hampi” featuring profound photographs of the legendary fashion and fine-art Indian photographer, Prabuddha Dasgupta.
The Silence of Hampi is to be exhibited in a special space at the Ganjam Flagship store. This exhibition features photographs of Prabuddha Dasgupta, which have never been exhibited in such detail.
Hampi – a project that was a result of corporate patronage, captures the unique artistic perception and experience of Prabuddha Dasgupta against the melancholic and deserted landscape. These photographs showcase Prabuddha’s response to the magnificence of Hampi, the interaction between the lines and boundaries captured through his lens. The exhibition also introduces a limited edition book – Hampi, which features his body of work in one concise edition.
This book launch will be inaugurated by Vimala Rangchara, Chairperson of the Craft Council of Karnataka and curator of culture.
The exhibition will continue till 30th March 2016, 11am – 7pm at the Ganjam flagship store, Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore.
