Reese Witherspoon has launched her own clothing line and it is selling out. The line of clothing is priced between $15 to $400 consisting of bags, accessories , clothes and gifting items. The whole line is print themed filled with colour as well as stripes making it look young and fresh. The clothes are everyday casual wear to formal attire as well. Since it is quite economical it seems to interest a larger audience .

Harbanero Chennai is one of the few Mexican places in Chennai and probably the best. This place has worked tediously to ensure all the ingredients are authentic and fresh. We started of with a plate of what is known as the ” Macho Nachos” and boy did they live up to the name ! We then tried the Fajitas with beef. The beef was well done and packed with flavor . We then tried the tacos which were crispy and so full of toppings its a fiesta in your mouth. the Chimichanga was fried to perfection. For dessert we had to try the Churros ,of course and they were melt in your mouth delicious dipped in a dark chocolate sauce. On the whole Harbanero is at the top of our list for authentic Mexican food.

Mindy Kaling has been working on a sequel to her book “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)” which is said to release on sept 29th . The book is called “Why Not Me?” and if you havent read the first one you get a better get a move on it before September !
Skrat – Band to Watch !
Skrat is a band that has been around in Chennai for quite some time now. But in the last year and a half they have become a band to definitely keep an eye out for. For launching their album “Queen” last year, they did a bike tour of four cities for the launch. They were also one of the very few bands to play at all four NH7 Weekender festivals last year. This year Skart they have already had a screening of their documentary about the band as well as starred with Farhan Aktar in the music video for Star Movies. With only bigger things to come they are on our radar for sure!

Sounak Sen Barat, the well-known designer from Bangalore, made waves at Karnataka Fashion Week with his new collection J’adore Jamdani.
Says the designer with a conscience, “For the last 6 years we have been focusing on creating a design philosophy of wearable global fashion that is classical and timeless with a knack to create wearability through unconventional artistic expressions and surface ornamentation.
This time around I felt it was time for me to give back to the country. To celebrate the true heroes of Indian heritage and luxury. Our weavers and artisans. So we adopted a few weavers in Bengal and created Khadi Kamdanis and fine Mulls. My idea was to create global luxury using self developed textiles that are born from the soil of our very own roots. Why use Chinese silks and Italian novelty fabrics when there is a gold mine of history and heritage textiles oozing from our own soil! Why not showcase that to the world!”
There came the thought of J’adore Jamdani.
His creations we modelled by some of the city’s most unconventional names – all movers and shakers in their own right – film producer and concept event creator Karan Rao, Grammy winner Ricky Kej, design legend Rakesh Thakore of Abraham & Thakore, photographer and visionary Sam Mohan, Zoheb Yusuf, concept co-creator at Prasad Bidapa associates and Bangalore’s society darling Ila Dorairaj Naidu.

Cricketer Rohit Sharma and his long-time manager and girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh announced their engagement on FB recently. Good wishes and congratulations poured in from friends for the cute couple. Ritz, as she is fondly called, has been managing Sharma since the early days and what started out as a business relationship soon blossomed into deep friendship and finally love!
Apparently Sharma, who hides a hugely romantic streak, popped the question to his lady love at midnight, after a resounding win against KKR in Mumbai.
He made the announcement on his FB page saying “From best friends to soul mates. Couldn’t get better.” While Ritz was a bit more mushy in her message reading, “My happily ever after.”
