Hailey Bieber, wife of Justin Bieber attended the 64th Grammy Awards 2022 with Justin Bieber in a loose, flowing gown. This gave rise to speculation that she was pregnant.
Hailey made it clear that she is not expecting a baby and requested to be left alone. In fact both Hailey and Justin Bieber walked the Grammys 2022 red carpet in flowing outfits. While Hailey wore a long strapless ivory gown by Saint Laurent and paired her gown with a delicate gold and diamond necklace, Justin wore an oversized blazer suit with a bright pink cap and quirky shoes. They shared a lip-lock and indulged in PDA on stage which left fans gushing. The couple looked adorable together.
They got married in September 2018 in New York City and had a close knit ceremony only with family and friends. They exchanged vows again a year later at a lavish, star studded ceremony in South Carolina.
The annual budget of the Greater Chennai Corporation for the year 2022 to 2023 will be presented by newly elected Mayor R.Priya at the Ripon Building on Saturday. The budget will be presented by the mayor after a long gap of 6 years.
The debate on the budget will take place on the same day. The previous city corporation budget was presented in 2016 and after that the seats of mayor and deputy mayor fell vacant. The tenure of other civic body representatives also fell vacant but elections were not held due to pending litigations.
When the DMK party led by Stalin came to power in May 2021, he announced that he would take steps to hold elections for local bodies both urban and rural. Accordingly, elections were held in February this year. The ruling DMK won 153 seats out of 200 and the party nominated R.Priya for the post of mayor and M.Mahesh Kumar as deputy mayor.

The brainchild of Director General of Police – Cyber Crime Amaraesh Pujari, the app, arguably the first of its kind in India, was recently launched by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin.
A 1991 batch IPS officer, Pujari has held several sensitive posts from Inspector General of Police – Intelligence, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, Chief Immigration Officer, South, Additional Director General of Police – Crime Branch CID and head of the Tamil Nadu Police Academy. In addition to his B.Sc. & MBA degrees, domain knowledge and expertise through a diploma in Cyber Crime & Information Security came in handy when he started the project during his stint in the Technical Services Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police. “It was very kind of the Head of Police Force Dr.Sylendra Babu, IPS, to allow me to continue the development of the app even after I moved to the Cyber Wing.”

Whistle-blowers can report crimes like sale of drugs or prostitution without revealing their identity. Unlike many other apps, storage is not a challenge here as images and videos up to 30MB can be shared. For emergency services, internet is not required.
When most folks download many social media apps and those of other private service providers like dunzo or swiggy without batting an eyelid, privacy concerns and the hesitation over according permission to view files and photos on the phone for this app for personal safety, that seeks minimal information, come across as misplaced.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi disclosed that India will be taking a neutral stance in the Russia-Ukraine war, that India will not bow down to any global pressure but will prioritise her national interests.
The Prime Minister stated that even though the world is now divided into two blocks, India will keep her national interests in the forefront. India is celebrating 75 years of independence and the country is working to ensure social justice and the motto of the BJP is ‘ek Bharat, shresth Bharat (one India, best India).
The BJP has completed 42 years since its foundation and on the celebrations held on Foundation Day, BJP’s national president JP Nadda said that the party is not just a political party but is a social welfare organization as well. The party launched a micro-donation campaign on its foundation day and people could make donations with even Rs 5.
Lebanon is home to one of the largest Christian communities in the Middle East that has been facing a severe economic and political crisis since 2019 and more than 80 percent of the population is living in poverty. Pope Francis is set to visit the country in June and has expressed concern over the growing crisis.
The people of Lebanon are awaiting the Pope’s visit and are eager to convey their gratitude to him for his concern and support. The Vatican has not yet confirmed the Pope’s trip but it normally confirms such visits nearer the time.
The visit is scheduled after the Lebanese parliamentary elections slated for May 15th. Pope Francis met the Lebanese President last month and the Prime Minister in November in the Vatican. He has called on the international community to support Lebanon as it is struggling to afford basic imports of food, medicine and fuel. In fact, many citizens are leaving the country en masse due to the continuing crisis.

Pushpa Munjial, a 78 year old senior citizen from Dehradun filed a petition in the district court transferring all her property to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. She handed over the testament of her property to Rahul at the residence of former state president Pritam Singh.
The reason behind this transfer was that Pushpa was greatly influenced by the ideas of Rahul Gandhi. She was impressed by the facts that both Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had sacrificed their lives for the country and that Sonia Gandhi as well as Rahul had dedicated themselves to the service of the nation.

Actress Malaika Arora’s car was rammed between two other cars on the Mumbai-Pune expressway on April 2nd. She was on her way back to Mumbai from a fashion event in Pune. The actress sustained minor injuries and had to get a few stitches at the hospital. She is now fine and is back home. However, she is shaken by the accident.
The police are carrying out investigations and will file an FIR shortly. Arjun Kapoor who is in a relationship with Malaika was with her when she got back from the hospital. Her sister Amrita Arora was seen visiting her with her husband Shakeel Ladak and their son to check on her. Amrita issued a health update that her sister is doing better and is stable. Malaika will now recover further at her home.

One of the most awaited weddings in Bollywood is the one of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. People are eagerly waiting to know when their big day is going to happen. There have been some reports saying that they will tie the knot in April this year. The wedding is supposed to take place at the RK house in Chembur. It will take place between the hectic shooting schedules of Ranbir’s two films.
In fact, Ranbir’s parents- Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor got married in the same place in January 1980. Reports claim that the guest list will be around 450.

Bhoopathy from Salem purchased his dream bike, a Bajaj Dominar 400 from a bike showroom in Salem by paying Rs 2.6 lakh using one rupee coins.
Bhoopathy went along with his friends and took the coins in a van and offloaded them using wheelbarrows. It took over 10 hours for the showroom staff to count the coins.
The showroom manager was initially reluctant to accept the payment in coins but finally relented as he did not want to disappoint a customer. Bhoopathy now has to convert the coins into currency notes. He has assured the bike showroom manager that he would take the responsibility to convert all the coins in case of any difficulty. He managed to convert 40,000 one rupee coins into currency notes and claimed that it would not be difficult to convert up to Rs 2 lakh.

J-Hope from the popular K-pop group BTS had tested positive for Covid-19 and was in quarantine. He has now recovered and will join the group to perform at the Grammys.
He is the rapper and one of the lead dancers in the group.He is also said to be one of the most fashionable members in the group. The other members of the group have landed in Las Vegas for rehearsals. Another member Jungkook is still under quarantine and his participation is doubtful.

Action hero Bruce Willis who turned 67 recently has been diagnosed with aphasia- a language disorder that robs people of their ability to communicate.
His family put up a post on Instagram that the actor has been experiencing health issues that is affecting his cognitive abilities. The Instagram post was signed by his current wife Emma Heming Willis, former wife, actress Demi Moore and his children Rumer Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn. The post also stated that it was a challenging time for the family and that it was appreciative of the love and support rendered by fans.
Due to this, Willis will quit acting. Aphasia is caused either by a stroke or head injury and affects a person’s ability to speak, understand, read and write.
He started his career in the 1980’s and won a Golden Globe and two Emmys during his career.
