The pandemic has fuelled the tech stock to surge and it has led to a reshuffling of the U.S. billionaires list. Mackenzie is a novelist and a philanthropist with a net worth of $66 billion.
Last week, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla overtook Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg to become the third richest man in the world after Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates with a net worth of $115 billion. As part of her divorce agreement, Mackenzie got a 4%stake in Amazon whose rate has increased due to the pandemic which has in turn propelled online sales and home deliveries.
