Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has once again become the world’s richest person and has overtaken Elon Musk. According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Bezos’ net worth was $200 billion on Monday compared to Elon Musk’s wealth of $198 billion. Close behind is Bernard Arnault, LVMH Chief at $197 billion.
Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault have taken turns to top the ranking which measures personal wealth based on changes in markets and the economy.
Bezos started e-commerce giant Amazon in 1994 from his garage in Seattle. He also founded a space company named Blue Origin and bought the Washington Post for $250 million.
Bezos purchased property in Miami last year and he spends time on his $500 million superyacht with his partner Lauren Sanchez.
