A letter dated March 15, 1955 written by King Charles III to his grandmother was traced by a couple in their attic while cleaning during the Christmas vacation. The letter written on Buckingham Palace notepaper reads ”Dear Granny, I am sorry that you are ill. I hope you will be better soon. The back of the letter has circles and colourful kisses and is signed off as ”Lots of love from Charles”.

King Charles III was six years old when he wrote that letter. It was found inside an envelope sent from Queen Elizabeth II to the Queen Mother.
Charles Hanson, the owner of Hansons Auctioneers said that the letter could fetch 10,000 pounds at auction. The letter was found in the house of late Roland Stockdale who worked for the Metropolitan Police where he was a member of the Queen’s personal protection team.
