Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is thrilled and is looking forward to pick out a gift for his mother on the occasion of her upcoming birthday. More so after having officially launched the online gifting portal ‘’ (SMG) at a grand event in Bengaluru.

Shopping requires one to scour through busy markets or stroll around shopping malls. It also consumes a helluva time of the givers to select gifts, whether it may be exquisite or simple in nature, to impress the receivers.

In order to amaze both the givers and receivers, the city-based firm TGS E COM is launching a system where the people can select and send their gifts online to their dear ones. The TGS Group has prudently and precisely designed the online gift portal ‘’ that the Bollywood heartthrob Hritik Roshan launched here.

The people can select and deliver over one lakh gifts to their friends and dear ones on important occasions just at a click of a button in The main aim behind designing and launching the portal was to save time to search ideal place to buy gifts; roaming across huge malls to select the gifts; placing order; going to collect them; gift-wrap them and visiting places to deliver the gifts.


The would present an array of around one lakh gifts to the customers. The digital photographs and details of gifts at the portal would ease the tension of customer in selecting and buying gifts besides saving their precious time.

In the press meet Hrithik roshan shared his views on the investments. “Why not? I am very proactive in my mind about being enabled and give opportunities and platform for people to grow. We have lot of talent and it needs to be nurtured. So if I find something that I believe in I would invest my efforts and money in. It could be startups or could be on the lines of,” he said after the launch an e-commerce marketplace for gifting in Bengaluru. Hrithik launched the online gift portal, designed by the TGS Group. It will help people select and deliver apt gifts for their loved ones.

Asked if he would invest on startups catering the fashion, film or glamour world, Hrithik said it could be anything and he would be happy if it could contribute towards making the world a better place to live. “It could be anything (not only in the field of glamour, film or fashion). For me, it has to be something that has to be a contribution to the world for better place,” he said. Hrithik already has launched his own casual wear brand, HRx, which had debuted online through an exclusive partnership with myntra.

The online gift portal is the brainchild of Dr Mandeep Kaur, Chairman and Managing Director of Send My Gift. India is the country of festivals and emotions. Celebrations and emotions are incomplete without gifting. Therefore, the SMG has decided to launch the portal “”, she proudly says.

We are targeting revenue over Rs.1000 cores by this financial year end and Rs.4000 Cores in next financial year 2016-17”
