A 56 year woman Anastasia Hanson, from California, created a fundraising page to pay off the mortgage on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14.6 million estate in California, United States. It was pulled down after it raised a paltry sum of $110. The crowdfunding page on GoFundMe was thought to be a joke and was created by her as she felt sorry for the royal couple. In the interview with Oprah Winfrey that was televised last week, Harry disclosed about being financially cut off by Buckingham Palace.

According to Anastasia, when the royal couple first came to the US, they had limited funds and did not have jobs. As they had a very rough time, she felt that the fundraiser would help them pay off their home loan in full. This fundraising effort raised $110 out of which $5 was contributed by Anastasia herself, a supporter giving $100 and an anonymous donor donating $5.
The Mediterranean- style house of Harry and Meghan, has a library, gym, separate wet and dry saunas, a home theatre and other facilities. It also has a guest house with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms inside the main compound. The entire estate has 19,000 square feet of living space with 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms.
It is reported that Prince Harry and Markle had signed multi-million dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix.
