The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out and shopped at local shops in a bid to support businesses that were recovering from the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. They shopped  at Smith’s the Bakers at Kings Lynn and purchased four chocolates and a plain croissant for their 3 children. They also stopped by at a Garden Centre to buy plants and seeds.
Their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were left back at home. The seeds were purchased for the three of them as they enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes. Both the Duke and Duchess followed the norms of social distancing and only few people were allowed into the store at one time.  It is reported that the Queen had sent a message to the British Chamber of Commerce offering her warmest wishes as businesses began to reopen.
