Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru’s Indian restaurant, Ssaffron, is hosting a nine-day ‘Sarhad’ culinary pop-up showcasing flavourful and authentic delicacies from the borders of India. Ssaffron, the hotel’s award-winning Indian restaurant, marks the arrival of winter with a nine-day culinary extravaganza.

Curated by Chef Gagandeep Singh Sawhney, the special menu features ancestral recipes that have been passed down to him by his grandmother from a bygone era. Prepared with the same love and attention that Chef Sawhney’s grandmother cooked with years ago, the rich, robust and rustic dishes are perfect to be enjoyed with loved ones during nippy evenings. Mildly spicy, lightly marinated, slow-cooked or grilled on tandoor, these delicacies feature succulent meat, root vegetables and flavourful greens.

The Sarhad seasonal menu introduces diners to Indian delicacies including Waris Ki Nihari, Charga, Sarson Ka Saag, Tawa Boti, Magaz Masala, Nadru Kebab, Mutton Champ, Miyaji ki Daal, Khamiri Roti, Kabuli Pulav, and more.

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, an iconic flagship brand of the Shangri-La Group, puts ‘service from the heart’ at the core of its distinctive Asian hospitality experience.
