Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park launches a brand-new plant-based menu on the occasion of Earth Day at Cappuccino. A  health-focused vegan menu that brings back traditional Indian recipes rich in nutrients, low in calories and with natural healing properties. The concept that puts flavour and health together on the table, keeping in mind the rising desire of consumers for healthy food options and mindful eating choices.

As more and more consumers are exploring s food choices, it is important to offer a sustainability plant-based menu across all dining options. Chef Gobu Kumar has made a mindful creation that focuses at offering a healthier option which aimed at rejuvenating, purifying, and restoring inner strength of the body. The menu includes Asparagus & Edamame Wrapped with Vine Leaf, Vegetable Krapow In Brassica Rapa Money Bag, Broccoli & Choux De Bruxelles in Farcie coeurs de palmier, Pockmarks Tofu Barrels with Gochujang in pandan leaf, Frijol Rojo Burguesa, Bird Eye Chilli Clay Oven Soy Chaaps, Valai Ilai Halwa Stuffed in Dates.

Commenting on the menu, Chef Gobu stated, “Like for any other cuisine, we have established our fundamental techniques, core ingredients and ethos when it came to being creative. We followed a lot of complicated avenues to arrive at what was actually a very simple explanation. The plant based menu is carefully crafted with few special ingredients like banana lead, palm hearts, edamame beans and others.  We at Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park are amongst the pioneers in the city to bring wholesome and mindful food options alongside our regular menu.
