Aaradhya Bachchan, the 11 year old daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai has filed a case against YouTube through her father for spreading fake news about her health.
The case was heard by the Delhi High Court yesterday. Aaradhya has sought an injunction against YouTube for spreading fake news about her health. Justice C Hari Shankar who heard the matter said that spreading alarming news against any child is not tolerable and that every child has the right to be treated with honour and respect.
Aaradhya is a student of Dhirubhai International School in Mumbai and despite her attending school regularly rumours were being spread about her health.
The court restrained the defendants from publishing or sharing videos with misleading information and rebuked YouTube tabloids for its irresponsible attitude. The case has been adjourned to July 13 for further hearing.
