3 Indians in UK Cabinet

Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson has appointed three leaders of Indian origin to UK’s diverse Cabinet. The Ministers are Priti Patel who has been appointed as Home Secretary, Alok Sharma as the International Development Secretary and Rishi Sunak as Chief Secretary to the Treasury.

All of them attended their first Cabinet meeting at 10, Downing Street yesterday. Boris Johnson took a pledge that the UK would leave the EU on the 31st of October. Priti Patel, 47 years old will be in charge of UK’s security, immigration and visa policies. She vowed to fight crime and said that she would fulfill her promise of a fairer visa regime for everyone around the world, free of the freedom of movement norms imposed by the European Union.
