Virat Kohli enters ”Elite Top 5” in International cricket

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has surpassed South African player Jacques Kallis and has become the fifth-highest run scorer in International cricket history. He achieved this record during India’s second Test match against the West Indies at Port of Spain.

This also happens to be Virat’s 500th game. The elite list includes Sachin Tendulkar who has 664 international appearances, former captain MS Dhoni who represented the country 558 times and the present coach Rahul Dravid who has 509 international appearances.
Some others in the list are Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Ricky Ponting, Shahid Afridi and Jacques Kallis.
