Vijay’s much-awaited Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj hit the screens for Pongal. Earlier in December 2020, it was officially announced that his next film would be directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar. The latest buzz doing the rounds is that the film tentatively called ‘Thalapathyt 65’ is being planned as a Pongal release in 2022.
It is said that the shooting of the film would begin only in April of this year and is planned to be completed by the end of the year. The film will be produced by Sun Pictures and ‘Thalapathy 65’ will have the young and popular Anirudh composing music for the film. The film is expected to be an action entertainer going by the glimpses of guns galore and fast cars shown in the announcement video. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew is awaited from the production house.
