Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passes away

Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, in charge  of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution passed away at the age of 74 at a private hospital in Delhi where he was taking treatment for several days.
His son Chirag Paswan shared the news. Ram Vilas Paswan was a Minister in the current Narendra Modi government, was also a Minister in the UPA government as well as in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee led NDA government at the Centre. His death came a few days after his son Chirag Paswan the Chief of the Lok Jansakti Party decided to go solo in the Bihar Assembly elections. It was Ram Vilas Paswan who founded the Lok Jansakti Party.
