UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will be taking a week’s vacation with his wife Akshata Murthy and daughters Krishna and Anoushka. However for security reasons, the holiday destination has not been disclosed.

The Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden will be in charge of the government during this period. Earlier in September last year, when Sunak and his family were holidaying in Spain for just a few hours, they had to fly back to the UK immediately after Queen Elizabeth II passed away.
It’s been almost 4 years since Sunak is taking time out with his family. He will later visit India in September for the G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi and is eagerly looking forward to this visit not only for the mithai but also to get work done.
The Parliament of Britain is on a long recess and it’s Britain’s customary summer holiday period too when many politicians take a vacation before Parliament resumes in September.
