Two Nasa astronauts, Jasmin Moghbeli and Loral O’Hara embarked on a spacewalk mission at the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday. This is the fourth all-female spacewalk in history and it is a significant development to see more women getting into space exploration.

The main objective of this spacewalk was to conduct maintenance activities on the International Space Station. They had to remove an electronics box known as the Radio Frequency Group from a communications antenna system on the station.
This device is said to be crucial to converting electric energy into radio waves, enabling communication between the space station and Earth.
This is said to be the first spacewalk for both Moghbeli and O’Hara.
The aim of scientists is to find out whether microorganisms can survive in harsh conditions of outer space.
