Trisha’s political thriller, Paramapadham Vilayattu directed by K Thirugnanam will be releasing on OTT. The movie was supposed to have had a theatrical release last month, but it did not happen due to unknown reasons. Now, the makers of the film have announced that they are going to release the movie on OTT for Tamil New Year.
The film’s trailer was released in May 2019 and it showcased a glimpse of the actress as a doctor who gets entangled in the political rivalry. The film has Nandha in a pivotal role and producer and distributor AL Alagappan is playing an important character in it. The film’s music is by Amaresh Ganesh. The movie’s promotional event was held last year in Chennai but it was not attended by Trisha.
After Petta, the actress was last seen in the short film, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn by Gautham Vasudev Menon. While she is part of Ponniyin Selvan by Mani Ratnam, playing a pivotal role, her film in Malayalam with Mohanlal titled Raam is ready for release. She has Garjanai, Sathuranga Vettai 2, and Raangi in Tamil waiting for release.
