The Netflix series has bagged multiple awards at the 78th Golden Globe awards
‘The Crown’ stole the show at the virtual event of Golden Globes 2021 by winning in four categories. It had six nominations this year and the show won the award for the Best Drama series. Emma Corrin won the best actress award for her performance as Princess Diana in the fourth season, while Josh O’ Connor bagged the award for best actor for his performance as Prince Charles. The best supporting actress award went to Gillian Anderson for portraying the role of Margaret Thatcher. The Crown has been one of the most popular shows this year and it has been in the news for a while for portraying the lives, various incidents and most talked about controversies in the Royal household.
