Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has been accused of abetting the suicide of his wife Sunanda Pushkar who was found dead in Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi. The Delhi Police have accused her husband and told a city court that his custodial interrogation was necessary to complete the investigation.
The Police also alleged that Mr.Tharoor had subjected his wife to cruelty. Mr.Tharoor termed the chargesheet as preposterous and said that he would contest it vigorously.
