The latest buzz is that Vijay is in talks with a few directors for his 66th film and H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Nerkonda Paarvai fame is one of the top contenders in the race. Earlier, Vinoth had narrated a serious political subject to Vijay but to avoid controversy, the actor turned down the offer because the director met him right after Sarkar, which is also a political film.
Sources say that the 66th film is likely to be bankrolled by Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studio, the worldwide distributor of Vijay’s recent blockbuster Master. The initial plan was to team with Siva of Viswasam fame but the director is held up with Annaatthe and another film with Suriya, he recommended Vinoth’s name to Vijay and producer Lalit Kumar.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s 65th film will be directed by Nelson and the shoot is all set to begin in April.
