Tamil Nadu CM cycles to Mahabalipuram

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has a passion for cycling and cycled all the way to Mahabalipuram on Sunday the 4th of July. He was dressed in a casual red and black sweatshirt. He also wore a helmet and glasses. It was the first time he cycled along the ECR since he became the CM. He normally cycles on weekends with his son-in-law Sabarish. They start from Neelankarai and go upto Mahabalipuram for a 38 km stretch. They usually have breakfast at Anandha Bhavan. This time, they chose a different hotel due to security protocols.


They started at 5 a.m.on Sunday and Stalin stopped thrice to greet people and pose with them for selfies. He even stopped to have tea at a tea stall in Kovalam leaving the owner surprised. Many people travelling in buses cheered the CM and shouted, “Thalaiva neenga vera level” meaning leader, you are on a different level.
Stalin is very conscious about his health and fitness.
Suresh Kumar, the owner of Pro-Bikes, stated that the CM wanted to raise public awareness about the health benefits of cycling especially after the pandemic struck.
