Swiggy, India’s largest food ordering and delivery platform collaborated with Sarah Todd, celebrated chef, author and an entrepreneur and Chai Point, India’s largest organised Chai retailer to launch the third edition of Swiggy Signature – Christmas Edition. The curated Christmas menu includes two tea time snacks, two savoury dishes and two desserts exclusively available to Swiggy customers in Bengaluru through Chai Point from 15th Dec to 31st Dec, 2018. Chai Point, which runs 100+ stores in 8 cities, is partnering with Swiggy for the first time to bring a new range of signature dishes like Poi, pudding, tea time snacks for the customers of both the brands for a limited period. Sarah brings her classic MasterChef twist to some all-time favourite Indian snacks like Samosa and Vadapav by infusing western Christmas flavours like meat (chicken) fillings and cranberry chutney. She has created a lip-smacking variation of the traditional Shepherd’s Pie, by using widely consumed ingredients such as paneer and Chicken Rogan Josh as fillings. She has also crafted two delicious desserts Sticky Caramel Toffee Pudding alongwith Mango and Coconut Tart that completes this special Christmas offering. Through this collaboration, Swiggy and Chai Point are developing some exciting new flavours for its consumers, to enjoy the festive season and bring in the New Year. Commenting on the third edition of Swiggy Signatures, Srivats TS – VP, Marketing at Swiggy said, “In the recent years, we have seen an evolution of our consumers’ palate, who are constantly on the lookout for creative food experiences. For the Christmas Edition of Swiggy Signatures, we are taking our consumers on a culinary journey with Sarah Todd, fusing various international flavours and influences into their favourite dishes.” He added, “We are delighted to associate with Chai Point to bring this Christmas menu to our consumer across Bengaluru.”
