Actor Sonu Sood got emotional on the birth anniversary of his mother Saroj Sood on Wednesday. He posted some beautiful black and white pictures of his mother during her younger days on Instagram. He also wrote a heartfelt note in which he wished his mother a ”happy birthday” and stated that he wanted to hug his mom and wish her personally. He thanked her for giving him life lessons and promised to do his best and make her proud of him.
He expressed that words cannot show how much he missed his mother and the void created by her absence would remain forever.
Last year, a road was dedicated to his late mother in his hometown in Moga district of Punjab. He posted a video of the board bearing his mother’s name and recalled how she used to travel on this road when she used to go to her college to teach. For Sonu, this road will remain as the most important achievement in his life.
Sonu has been doing a lot of philanthropic work during this Covid-19 pandemic and has in fact been called as a real life hero. Right from helping migrants to reach their hometowns, to arranging for beds and oxygen cylinders for patients, to promoting small businesses amid the lockdown periods, Sonu has been a saviour to many.
