Solar eclipse on June 21st

We are about to witness the second solar eclipse of the year on June 21st. It will be an annular eclipse. It will form a ring of fire but is different from a total eclipse. It will be visible in parts of Africa, Congo, Ethiopia, Pakistan, India and China. The eclipse will begin at 9.15. a.m. and end at 15.04.
Ashadha Amavasya also falls on the same day. On this day, many people fast, do pujas, make offerings and do works of charity. They also remember their ancestors and perform pujas and seek their blessings. People also pray for the well being of family members on this day.
