Badminton champion P. V. Sindhu has left the ongoing national camp for Olympic hopefuls and has travelled to London. It is the first time that the 25 year old has travelled abroad alone without being accompanied by either of her parents.
It is understood that she has undertaken the trip to work on her recovery and nutrition. She is being monitored by a team of experts including Rebecca Randell of the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. She is expected to be in the UK for a couple of months and will start training with the England team for a while.
