A woman from Saudi Arabia named Ohud Abdullah Almalki used expired coffee granules to create the world’s largest coffee painting. She is the first woman from the country to enter into the Guinness Book of World Records for achieving the feat single handedly.
It took her 45 days of continuous work to complete the painting that was done on a 220 sq metre piece of canvas which had 7 connected cloths. The painting features the founding fathers of Saudi Arabia and the UAE- the late King Abdul Aziz bin Saud and the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Below them are a series of smaller portraits of other leaders from the two  Gulf countries. She used 4.5 kilograms of expired coffee granules to create the painting. Almalki hopes that her accomplishment will help to empower the women in Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf countries.
