Jimmy Rocks Presents the Rich Flavours of Thailand At The Kochi Marriott!

Kochi Marriott hotel’s food mascot Jimmy Rocks brings home the best of the exotic flavours from the streets of Thailand from 5th May to 14th May, 2017. Jimmy Rocks during his culinary journey happened to meet Chef Kamol Chukaew, popularly known as Chef Mol at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Thailand who is a master chef himself in Thai cuisines with more than 24 years of experience. The festival will not only showcase an array of authentic and sumptuous Thai cuisine but will recreate a cultural experience for the guest that goes beyond just food. Chef Mol, a connoisseur of Thai cuisine would spearhead the preparations at the festival held at Kochi Kitchen.

The Thai culinary journey will offer guests a visual delight as well as a discovery of unique flavours for the palate. Chef Mol has meticulously designed a menu with a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from across Thailand. Complemented by fresh spices, the buffet and live counters will feature dishes like Yum Phak Boong Grob salad, Yum Kuay Tiew salad, Tom Som Pla soup, Panaeng Gai, Phad Wood Sen: Stir-fried Thai spicy glass noodle, Khao Nieaw Ma Muang: Thai sticky rice with ripe mango topped with coconut cream, Geang Kra-Ti Gai: Red curry with chicken and more. There will be an exclusive cookery class with Chef Mol on 6th May at INR 666 nett per person between 3 pm to 5 pm along with Hi Tea.

Guests dining during the festival period stand a chance to participate in our grand Lucky Draw Contest for which the official airline partner is Silk Air.  The lucky draw vouchers are available at the restaurant reception. The grand prize winner will be announced during the closing ceremony after the food promotion. The winner of the grand lucky draw will earn a to and fro ticket to Thailand along with a 2 night stay at the Marriott.

About Chef Mol:

Chef Kamol Chukaew, popularly known as Chef Mol has more than 24 years of experience in Thai Cuisine. He began his career in a popular Thai restaurant named Wang Thai hotel in the year 1993 and later moved to Grand Tropicana Hotel in Phuket. In the year 2005 he moved to Malaysia where he was a Thai Chef in Chok Dee Thai Restaurant. In the year 2013, Chef Mol joined JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort and Spa as Senior Chef De Partie and he has showcased some brilliant dishes to all his guests
