Celebrity couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt walked away with the top acting honours in the 69th edition of Filmfare Awards ceremony held in Gujarat this weekend.
Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor award for his stellar performance in the film Animal. Alia Bhatt received the Best Actress award for her lead role in the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. The film Animal by Sandeep Reddy Vanga was awarded with 6 trophies.
Vidhu Vino Chopra’s 12th Fail won the award for the Best Film and Best Director. Vikrant Massey won the Best Actor award for 12th Fail in the Critics category.
Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor was extremely happy and celebrated her son and daughter-in-law’s Filmfare awards with her posts on Instagram. She also shared pictures capturing the winning moments of the duo from the awards function.
