IDBI Federal Life Insurance and Soles Of Cochin Presents A Scenic Marathon!
The IDBI Federal Life Insurance and the Soles Of Cochin join hands to present yet another marathon in Kochi! “Experience the bliss of the sights, sounds and oh! even the smells of the headquarters of the ancient spice trade. Winding through the streets of old Kochi and meandering through all the historical locations of the Muziris. The medal you take home will be the perfect souvenir from your race and it will be a tiny bit of Kerala too!” posted the organisers on their webpage. The full marathon covers a total distance of 42.2km starting from K K Premachandran Sports Complex, Willingdon Island, Kochi on 13th November 2016 at 4am. Registrations open! Half marathon would be 21.1 km and would start at 5am.
There is something for Corporates too, who can join in as a team! “Join us as teams of four to pitch yourself against the others and to prove to yourself that your team and you can indeed run! Each team must consist of 4 members with a minimum of one woman per team. The runners will have to run 3 km, 3km, 6km, and 9km respectively and team members will have to choose their distances during the time of registration, after which changes will not be entertained.Registrations will cost Rs. 6000 per team. There is no limit to the number of teams per company,” say the organisers. The corporate run begins at 5am.
