President Draupadi Murmu underwent a cataract surgery in her right eye at the Army Hospital (Referral & Research) in New Delhi on Sunday according to a news report from the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
It is reported that the surgery was successful and that the President has been discharged from the hospital. Earlier on October 16th, this year, she had undergone a cataract surgery in her left eye in the same hospital.
President Draupadi Murmu was sworn in as the 15th President of India on July 25th, 2022.
