Prabha Khaitan Foundation presents Muskaan | Kitaab – An interactive session with Sudha Murty in conversation with Shrutkeerti Khurana.
Sudha Murty lives by the belief that “Generosity of a few is hope for millions”. Born in 1950in North Karnataka, the chairperson of Infosys Foundation has aided relief work for 16 national disasters in the last 25 years. A leading advocate for social causes, she has passionately travelled to universities and gatherings across the world. This Padma Shri awardee is a prolific writer in Kannada and English. Her books have been translated into all major Indian languages and have sold over 30 lakh copies. She is a columnist for English and Kannada dailies with 30 books and more than 200 titles to her credit, including novels, non-fiction, children’s books, travelogues, technical books, and memoirs. Her strong ties to Karnataka, its language, and people led her to establish more than 60,000 libraries in the state. She has received nine honorary doctorates and a plethora of awards and recognitions.
