The India release of Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut failed to create sparks. xXx:The Return of Xander Cage, starring Vin Diesel, has so far grossed only Rs17.25 crore, a minuscule amount compared to Dangal, which made Rs40 crore in its first Sunday alone.
Vin and Deepika were in Mumbai as well to promote their film amongst Indian audiences. Dangal’s collection post its release on December 23, 2016 today equal Rs370 crore.
