PM holds video conference with Chief Ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of all states to discuss about the ways to contain the spread of Covid-19. It was decided that all the Chief Ministers would speak to religious leaders of their respective states and request the members of their community about the need to practice social distancing and also the need to avoid huge gatherings.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray suggested that it was essential for citizens to keep good health during the lockdown period. Other than the Chief Ministers of different states, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope, State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Tourism Minister Aaditya Thakeray and some senior bureaucrats participated in the video conference.
