We recently saw Trisha and Simran in the Rajinikanth-starrer Petta. In the movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Simran played Rajinikanth’s pair. Though Trisha played the heroine in the movie, she didn’t have any combination scenes with Simran. Now the latest news that’s going rounds is that Trisha and Simran will be seen in a movie, which will be directed by debutant Sananth.
The film is touted to be a woman-centric action-adventure film. It has to be recalled that Trisha debuted in Jodi, where she played Simran’s friend. Later, she became one of the leading heroines in Tamil. Simran, who was a top heroine, took a break after her marriage, and the actress is now on a comeback mode.
But now, yesteryear star heroine Simran and one of the most admired actresses down South Trisha are all set to join hands for a chick flick. Simran-Trisha’s as-yet-untitled film is touted as an action adventurous thriller. The film will be directed by a debutant named Sananth. The project will be launched in April. More details about the film’s producers and other cast and crew will be revealed soon.
