Poutine Festival At That Madras Place

That Madras Place is having a”Poutine Festival” and we decided to check it out . We decided to try out five different types , two non veg ones and three veg ones. For us the Chilli beef fries were a real stand out , laden with flavours and dripping in sauce .Madras Place1

 

The Parsley Garlic Fries With Mozzarella were a delicious as well , the garlic was a strong stand out flavour making it delicious.

The one thing we would have liked was the addition of a gravy . As original Poutine is supposed to be dripping in sauce, these dishes were more just fries with delicious toppings. Otherwise we loved the experience and would love to try out their other dishes as well.

This year, the judges have unanimously chosen Ms. Sailakshmi – Ekam Foundation and Mr. Ravi – IPS for the above awards.

 

Teen Choice Awards 2015

The 2015 Teen Choice Awards were held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on August 16, 2015. The biggest stars in music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy, video games and the Internet were gathered in the event. The winners were voted on by viewers aged 13 through 19 and received a full size surfboard which was beautifully designed. The award show was hosted by Gina Rodriguez, Josh Peckand and Ludacris.

The focus of the foundation will be to provide educational support to the poor and underprivileged girl children. Before the announcement of the announcement itself 16 girl students have been given educational help in arts, engineering and medical college. “My mother used to be very strict in bringing me up in education and discipline …. she used to always advice me that you do whatever job you want but do something useful for others. And my other inspiration late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam has always supported education for everyone …. that’s why I have started this foundation in my mother’s name – “Devi Social and Educational Foundation”. Qualified and deserving girl students will only get this help stream line and monitoring of deserving candidates will be done by my fans association Mr.Jeyaselan and my manager Mr.Murgadoss,” he also said in his announcement.
