Akhil Akkineni’s debut film ‘Akhil’, is in the last leg of production. The unit recently left to Europe to film a couple of songs in the exotic locales of Spain and Austria and shall wrap up the overseas schedule.
Meanwhile, the first look and the teaser of the film generated a huge buzz recently making Akhil the cynosure of all eyes. Sayyesha Saigal, another debutante will be seen as Akhil’s love interest in the film, directed by VV Vinayak. The film is set for a grand release on October 21.
Mannara (aka Barbie Handa), who made her debut with Prema Geema Janta Nai, is set for her next project in Tollywood. The pretty actress will be seen opposite Sunil in her next film, for which she has already started shooting.

This movie is releasing in 110 screens in USA alone and it’s the biggest ever release among Nani’s films. Directed by Maruthi, the film has Lavanya Tripathi pairing opposite Nani for the first time. Gopi Sunder’s music has already generated good buzz.
The accolades keep pouring in for the trailer of Varun’s Tej’s forthcoming film ‘Kanche’. The trailer of ‘Kanche’ shows actor Varun Tej juggling his duties as a World War II soldier and his beloved, played by Pragya Jaiswal. Afer top filmmakers and ace technicians lauded the trailer, Varun took to his social networking account to express his joy.

Mohammad Azharuddin, who recently flew to London to join Emraan Hashmi and the crew of Azhar as they shoot critical cricketing portions has been honoured by Derbyshire County Council during the movie shoot.
Interestingly, the former Indian cricket team captain used to play for Derbyshire County Council between 1991 to 1994 and this celebration was like a homecoming of sorts for the cricket legend after 21 years since he is present there while the film on his life and times is being shot. Talking about this Azhar said, “It felt good to be back in Derbyshire country where I played more than two decades back, this time though with Emraan and rest of the crew of the film. I am thankful to the council for what they call ‘homecoming felicitation’. It’s a kind gesture on their part.”

Jacqueline Fernandez who is currently in London shooting for Housefull 3 along with the rest of the ensemble starcast, has joined a Pilates class to keep fit, while on her outdoor shoot schedule.
Sources reveal that the actress visited at least six schools before settling on one, as she wanted to attempt to do something different from her regular Pilates workout in Mumbai. In fact Jackie’s co-star Lisa Haydon too will be joining her for these sessions.
Confirming the news says Jacqueline, “I swear by Pilates, and there are some amazing schools that teach it in London. I plan to attend the sessions in the morning, post which I will head to the shoot.”
