Nuns of the Missionaries of Jesus congregation who are supporting bishop Franco Mulakkal for allegedly raping a nun, met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and expressed dissatisfaction and reported about the bias in dealing with the case. Sr. Amala, the public relations officer of the congregation stated that the bishop was innocent and he was falsely implicated in the case.
She said that ” truth will not disappear just because five persons are lying.” The congregation also released a report accusing the nun of fabricating allegations against the bishop. The report shows that there are several allegations against the nun including financial misappropriation.
