A spokesman of Indian Oil Corporation has announced that there is a new number 77189 55555 that has been configured across India for booking refill of gas cylinders. All Indane customers have to dial this number to book a refill of gas cylinders.
The new IVRS number is an all India number and it aims to be a unified facility for Indane customers across the country. If the mobile number is already registered, the option of booking refill will be available. Otherwise, the customer will have to register his/ her mobile number. All distributors have been asked to inform customers about the change in the booking number. Tamil Nadu alone has about 1 20 crore LPG customers.
